BEN HARRIS
Ben Harris is a creative and versatile guitar player and instructor. He currently plays lead guitar with the R&B dance band Lagniappe,in addition to leading his own projects.
Ben fronts the Ben Harris Trio with bassist Chris Michaels and drummer Brian Withers. This trio incorporates a fusion of jazz, rock, and funk stylings to showcase the virtuosity of the three members.
Ben also plays in an instrumental duo that includes Chris Michaels on standup bass. As a soloist artist, Ben performs on both electric or acoustic guitars. He plays musical styles that range from traditional jazz and classical music to more esoteric, cross-genre explorations unique to Ben's creative abilities.
Ben holds a Bachelors degree in instrumental music and is currently pursuing a masters degree at the University of New Orleans.
